Welcome to the Thayer Seventh-Day Adventist Church

Visiting the Thayer Adventist Church is truly a unique experience.  From the time you park your car until you leave you will experience a family atmosphere of hospitality and worship. We love having people visit our church!

Praise in Song  9:45 am to 10:00 am
If you  want the FULL experience, we recommend coming early enough to enjoy the Praise in Song that starts your Sabbath off.

Sabbath School Bible Study 10:00 am to 11:00 am
After Praise in Song, our Children's Division separates to their classes.  Our gifted, dedicated teachers are committed to providing a fun interactive learning experience for your children. If you would like,  you are welcome to join your kids in their class.

For the Adults, our Sabbath School leader shares inspiring readings and updates on Missionary outreaches around the globe. During our Bible Study Time we focus on what the Bible says and how it's messages are relevant to us today. We also have a Young Adult class who discuss the Collegiate lesson studies.

Worship Service 11:00am to 12:15pm
This is an incredible time when the entire church comes together for worship.  There are three significant parts to worship that are included every week.

First, we devote several minutes to music and worship in song.

Second, we always set aside a portion of our time for the experience of prayer.  A time of sharing the Blessings God has given during the past week and a time to pray for heartfelt needs.

And third, we devote significant time to listening to God's Word.  Each Sabbath one of the Church Elders shares a Christ-centered, relevant message.  Every week we have a different speaker, each  sharing fresh and exciting insights from Scripture.

We believe by combining these three important elements of worship, God is uplifted and each person experiences a personal relationship with Him.

 Lunch 12:30pm
Each Sabbath, we have lunch immediately following our worship service. Each week there is a different menu theme. The service has just ended but the fellowship continues.

You  begin to see that Sabbath is more than just about an hour in a worship service.

It's experiencing....God.   It's embracing......God.     It's sharing.....God.

It's focused on personal spiritual growth and learning to know God more.

We invite you to come and see.......

See what you've been missing.
